ThePorsche 918 new and exciting concept car of 2010, introducing the Porsche 918 RSR Concept, it is the sportier version of the 918 Spyder Concept, well if you think this version was just a simple tweak on the 918 spyder then you're mistaken, RSR Concept has made some major changes that took monsterous effect on the speed and performance of this car.

Thesupercars 918 Spyder's Hybrid system is just too kind to be called a racing car, that's why the Porsche 918 RSR Flywheel system kicks off some of the parts, such as the rear mounted lithium ion battery pack and the electric motor that the 918 Spyder takes pride on 0 emissions, on the other side the 2 electric motors remain just like the Spyder, each one drives a front wheel, but this time they're both linked to the flywheel system, which they will serve as a generator that charges the flywheel accumulator (located inside the cockpit) and stores the energy that spins up to 36,000rpm and with a push of a button the energy is release back into the 2 motors that boosts up its acceleration and lessen its fuel consumption, aside from the energy generations the 2 motors did, it also has a torque vectoring function which is responsible for its upgraded agility.

Porsche 918 RSR Concepts core still relies on a petrol powered engine, which is mid mounted in the chassis, still a 3.4 liter V8 engine but this time it produces a 555bhp @ 10,300rpm compared to 918 Spyder's 493bhp with a 9200rpm red line, and adding an additional 201bhp given by its electric motors it gives this Porsche 918 RSR an outstanding number of 756 horsepower.

Other changes made on the Porsche 918 RSR includes the paddleshift version six-speed sequential ‘box, and the addition of a roof and the swing up doors. In order to increase the downforce they've equipped a new rear wing, a front lip spoiler, and a front spatsare.
