In 1978, the LP400S model was introduced, the engine was slightly modified from the LP400, the most changes were in the exterior, its tires were wider and an optional V shaped spoiler was added to improve its high speed stability while cornering, but because of these modifications the top speed was reduced by at least 10 mph.
Then Later on 1982 The LP500S Exotic car appeared, this time they gave it a bigger and more powerful engine, with 5.0 liter in which improves its performance drastically. and in 1985 the 5000QV (quattrovalvole) was introduced, improving its V12 engine into a 5.2 Liter that has a 455bhp @ 7000 rpm.
And then in 1988 the 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach was introduced it is similar to the 5000QV they only made it look a bit sportier than before, the main improvement made was the fixation on engine cooling problem which they've always had it. The production of this unit ceased on 1990 when the Lamborghini Diablo appeared.
