Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera's focal improvement was the weight reduction of 70kg from the LP560-4’s kerbweight, in which it became a 1340kg and that is one heck of a good news for a four-wheel drive V10 supercar, in order to achieve this improvement Lambo made a perfect good use of Alcantara and carbonfibers which they spread all over the cabin, and making polycarbonate windows.
After loosing some weight the chip tuning also occured making Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera's direct injection 5.2 liter V10 produce a 562bhp @ 8000rpm, 42bhp more than the older Superleggera and equals the Ferrari 458 Italia, the torque on the other hand remains at 398lb ft @ 6500rpm, after the tweaks this new Superleggera can accelerate from a standpoint to 62mph in 3.4 seconds.
Lambo chose not to make this LP570-4 Superleggera as extreme as before by changing the suspension of this supercar making it a softer and comfier ride when dealing with road bumps, but even with this change they've manage to make this car perform better than it was before no matter if it's about cornering or straight roads this LP570-4 is better.
