Supercars | new Beetle Supercars

The 2012 Volkswagen all new Beetle promoted on the Oprah show, will be unveiled in the LA auto show next year and will hit the European market on May 2011, as you may see this new car possessed a stronger and sharper aura compared to the current version known as the New Beetle, some reshape was obvious on the rear end which gives this Beetle a more powerful impression the "New" prefix will be remove though, returning to being just Volkswagen Beetle, but in the end the resemblance still remains.

This new Beetle will be wider and have a longer wheelbase compared to the current version it is bigger and will most certainly gain more interior space, specially on the rear, its suspension will also be improved for better handling. This new Beetle will have various of engine to offer including a 1.2 liter that has a 105hp, a 1.4 liter with 160hp, and a 2.0 liter with 210hp, Sources say they might have also a 2.5 liter engine that produces a massive 270 horsepower, 2 diesel engine will also be offered, a 1.6 liter with 105hp and a 2.0 liter with 140hp.

Volkswagen also plans to produce a hybrid version of this Beetle that can produce a 150 horsepower from a combined power of an electric motor and a turbo engine.
