Drift | How to Drift

Indrift motor sports today drifting has been popular, a lot of people find it amusing I myself did, so what exactly is drifting (drift)? Drifting is a modern driving technique where the driver intentionally over steers the car causing it to lose its traction in the rear wheel while entering corners at high speed, it looks more like letting the car slide but the slide being controlled by the driver, it's an amazing technique yet very dangerous and destructive to the vehicle performing this.

How to Drift

supercars1) First things first you'll need a car preferably a rear wheel drive with LSD make sure to tune it for drifting
2) The transmission of the car is preferably manual for automatic transmission is bit a harder to perform a drift but not impossible
3) Just an advice find the type of car that has a lot of cheap spare parts for sale in the market because you'll need to change parts if you do this technique
4) You need a wide open area to do the drift
5) You'll need a lot of spare tires of course.

Heres how to start your drift

Handbreak technique is the easiest and most common way to start drifting, All beginners will have to familiarize this first before doing some more advance drifting, you should first get use to sliding the car until your not scared.

Do the 180 Degrees Turn
Plant a plastic cone in the middle of an empty lot this lot should be wide and roomy, now drive up to the cone and pull the handbrake while attempting to do a 180 turn. Practice this left and right steer.

Then do the 90 Degrees Turn
This technique is almost the same as the 180 turn but it requires you to control how hard you pull the handbreak.

Then 360 Degrees Turn
Now, this is a combination of accelerating and handbrake control together. You start the same way you are going to do a 180. Once your car starts to drift, you need to tap your gas pedal to give a little more spin to your rear tires in order to achieve a longer drift, but pushing too much gas will cause your car to over steer, and a little too less will stop the drift so you need to watch out and be somewhere in the middle it's all trial and error state until you find the right mode, practice clockwise and counter clockwise.

After mastering these techniques then you'll be certain that you can move to the next level of drifting.

Supercars | New Ferrari Supercars

RumorsNew Ferrari have been spreading on the new Ferrari 612 Scaglietti to be in the market on 2012, its feels so sudden to release a new Ferrari 612 but the present models already been standing for 5 years so its just on time, sources say that this new Ferrari would look a bit more futuristic edgier look and the concept of this car is to be more green friendly.

supercarsLets line up the details of what we know so far, this new Ferrari 612 would have a longer wheelbase, extended front end, stacked exhaust pipes and bonnet bulge from the details we can say that its impossible for the design to be just a facelift but it would rather be an all new design.

As for the brand new design the powertrain would also be a brand new technology since their aiming for a greener effect this new Ferrari 612 would feature a new V12 powerplant that would emit 40% lesser carbon dioxide than the current version which would make a lot of sense on Ferrari's goal fuel consumption would be about 19 mpg or more it also might feature an insertable 4x4 system which is still uncertain, though this new Ferrari 612 might not improve its 533 previous horsepower, but if that's not already enough for you then I would call you crazy.

The pictures shown is just a test unit so we don't consider it as the real deal.

We expect this new Ferrari 612 to make its first appearance in late 2011 and probably hit the market in 2012.

Supercars | BMW M5 Supercars

BMWbmw m5 always had an answer to their rivals if not an answer at least a match up, but when it comes to matching up against supercars like Mercedes SLR Mclaren, Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi's R8, BMW 's got nothing, well not for long, because this time BMW is planning to launch a supercar that could go toe to toe against their rivals supercar, and it looks like they might even win this match up.

Come 2012 BMW will launch the next generation BMW M5 which will first appear at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, This new BMW supercar will most probably be equipped with a 4.8 twin turbo V8 engine instead of a 5.0 liter V10 engine and the target horsepower of this car will be 600 hp and above and they will combine this new engine with a 8 speed dual clutch transmission to maximize its acceleration. and for the fuel economy they will equip this new BMW M5 with the KERS Technology (kinetic energy recovery system) that is taken from their F1 Technology which has a complete boost function and fuel saving technology including the cylinder cutoff.

The pictures shown is what might be the New BMW M5 would look like. But nothing is certain yet.
