Supercars | Porsche GT3 Supercars

ThePorsche GT3 new 2010 Porsche GT3 RS an even more powerful version, GT3 is one of the most popular version of 911 it is well known as the sporty version judging by the looks but it ain't the fastest, GT2 still reigns as the fastest 911 version, then why create a Porsche GT3 looking like it's sporty? honestly we have no idea...

If you ask me I'd go for a GT2 base on its upgrades the only thing that makes this Porsche GT3 RS an option for us is the price that cost £104,841, which is far cheaper than the GT2.

TheSupercars upgrades made for the 2010 Porsche GT3 RS are the engine which they've changed it to a 3.8 liter flat six compared to their older 3.6 liter combined with a motorsport derived 6 speed manual which is the only option for this supercar, that enables this car to produce an improved 444bhp at 7900rpm compare to its previous model but the torque power remains unchanged with 317lb ft. which will be produced in higher revs and let's this GT3 accelerate from a standpoint to 62mph in 4.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 193mph.

Light weight modifications are also applied to this GT3 so expect a lot of carbon fibers involved.

In my opinion I'm really disappointed with the upgrades made for this new Porsche GT3 RS, it's totally inefficient increasing the engine displacement to a 3.8 liter and only resulting to a 15bhp increase at a higher rev of 300rpm and achieving the same torque power of the previous model if high revolutioned obviously you'll consume more fuel just to be up a bit over the previous model, and I really do expect much more knowing that the displacement has increased and getting a 4.0 seconds acceleration and a top speed of 193mph nowadays isn't something special enough to be proud of.

Supercars | Cosworth Impreza Supercars

WeCosworth Impreza are already impressed with the power Subaru Impreza has given to us, and now they've happen to make it even better with the tunes and tweaks made on this STI, they were able to create an even more powerful machine, the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, not much of a change in the design but the power is something to watchout for, this is a limited edition model that has been tuned by a famous F1 tuner.

With this new power equipped in this Cosworth Impreza STI, they've also made some upgrades on its equipments to handle this new power such as the suspesion which was specifically designed and made by both Bilstein and Eibach for Cosworth specification, the new short shift kit also the chassis, new clutch and brakes was equipped to fully proportion the power of Cosworth.

Supercars | Porsche GT2 RS Supercars

Insupercars the 2010 new supercars list also includes the very powerful Porsche GT2 RS, by carbon fiberizing their parts such as the front and rear spoilers and the aluminum door helps cut back the kerbweight down to 1370kg, which is one of the key factors for this supercar to achieve its power of 611 horsepower that is 88bhp more than their previous model.

TherePorsche GT2 RS will be no regular GT2 model, only the Porsche GT2 RS model is in the lineup and it will only consist of a rear wheel drive layout with a 6 speed manual transmission that get its power from a 3.6 liter engine with variable geometry turbos, and a new intercooler, that enables a power increase from 523bhp to 611bhp at 6500rpm compared to the Turbo S, and the torque 516lb ft from 2500-5500rpm.

With the lack of their special 4 wheel drive this Porsche GT2 RS was able to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 3.5 seconds a bit slower compared to the 3.3 seconds made by the Turbo S, however this new Porsche GT2 RS was able to edge the Turbo S in the 0 to 124mph in which it recorded a time of 9.8 seconds compared to 10.8 seconds made by the Turbo S, and in the longer run the GT2 RS gets even more powerful which it accelerates from 0 to 186 mph in 28.9 seconds.

This car will be on the market on September 2010, and only 300 units will be produced. So hurry up before you miss out.

Supercars | 911 Turbo S Supercars

I911 turbo s personally like Porsche 911 Supercars, but after seeing the price range for this 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo S, I'm certain that this car is not the best option out there, with the coupe model worth £123,263 and a cabriolet worth £130,791 we can say that this 911 Turbo S is expensive even with its new improvements on hand.

Thesupercars direct-injection, twin-turbo 3.8-litre flat six remains unchanged, the improvements for this 911 Turbo S came from the revised intake valve timing with a new carbon airbox and a boost in turbo pressure to 1.2bar, which enabled its horsepower to go up from 493bhp at 6000rpm to 523bhp at 6250-6750rpm. The torque is the same as a regular Turbo but equipped with the optional Sport Chrono overboost function, the Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions on the other hand remains the same.

The PDK gearbox, Sport Chrono Pack that includes a launch control function are standard. And combined with the revised engine, this enabled the 911 Turbo S to accelerate from a standpoint to 62mph in 3.3 seconds, and what's more was it was able to reach 124mph in 10.8 seconds which could surely outrun a lot of supercars out there and that is just amazing. We really do think the improvements made for this new 911 Turbo S was great but still it doesn't deserve to be this expensive.

Supercars | Jump Start Supercars

OneJump Start of the most common problem we experience when you own a car, aside from a flat tire, battery discharge is the next most common disaster we experience, the most common cause for this problem is by accidentally living the car lights on for a period of time while the engine is turned off, another cause might be that the battery isn't maintained properly other things like damaged alternator or bad starter could also cost this problem, but if the problem is because your battery is discharged then we can always perform a jump start to start your car, here are the correct steps in performing a jump start.

First make sure both cars are turned off and so are their equipments like radios, etc. also unplug anything that is connected in the lighter plug.
Read your battery carefully make sure you know which side is Positive and which is Negative.
supercarsCheck if there are any cracks on the battery, if you happen to find a crack on the battery then don't continue for it will explode if you continue.
Try to clean any corrosion around the dead battery's terminal.
As much as possible wear a protective eyewear
Now to connect the cables.

STEP 1: Connect one end of the cable to the Positive(+) terminal of the dead battery.
STEP 2: Connect the other end of the Positive(+) cable to the Positive(+) terminal of the good battery.
STEP 3: Connect one end of the Negative(-) cable to the Negative(-) terminal of the good battery.
STEP 4: Connect the other end of the Negative(-) cable to a NON PAINTED metal part of the engine on the dead car.

So why didn't we connect our negative cable to the negative terminal? It's because we usually avoid connecting it directly to reduce the chance of explosion, connecting our cable to the negative terminal is the last resort.

Now to Jump Start your car, first start the engine of the good car then let it run for a while rev it a bit, after a few minutes you can now attempt to start the dead car.

That is the standard method, there is a much safer way but sometimes it doesn't work, anyway here is the safer method, after connecting the cables correctly as stated above, next is to start the good car rev it for a while until the dead car battery is charged enough to start, then turn off the good car and disconnect the cables, now try starting the dead car, if it didn't work then you should try the first method I mentioned.

How to disconnect the cables? simple you just reverse the step, here are the step by step:
Important: Becareful not to let the cable clamp touch each other.

STEP1 Disconnect the Negative (-) cable from the engine block of the dead car
STEP2 Disconnect the other end of the Negative(-) cable from the Negative (-) terminal of the good battery.
STEP3 Disconnect the Positive (+) cable from the Positive (+) terminal of the good battery.
STEP4 Disconnect the other end of the Positive(+) cable from the Positive (+) terminal of the dead battery.

Supercars | Toyota FT86 Supercars

TheToyota FT86 joint venture of Toyota and Subaru brings us joy, for it enables them to produce a highly anticipated car, known as the Toyota FT86(Japanese pronounced this as "hachi roku"), the name FT86("Future Toyota 86") already speaks for itself, there is no doubt in our mind that this new race car made by Toyota was inspired by their legend drift car known as the Toyota Trueno AE86, Supercarsthis will not only bring AE86 fans on their feet but with their design MR2, Supra and Celica Supercars lover will surely tag along with it.

It is obvious to see that the design for this Toyota FT86 isn't final yet but those are the closest probability on what this race car would look like, the details on this car is still not final, but sources say that this FT86 would be powered by a 2.0 liter boxer engine that can produce 200 horsepower and will be of course a rear wheel drive, with just 164 inches in lenght, Toyota has yet to reveal its exact weight, but they say that this 2 door Toyota FT86 will have a light body and low center of gravity that will have an amazing performance "racecar like handling".

Base on our economy we expect the automaker to produce a range of models from low performance budget models to high performance models of this Toyota FT86, we expect to see this car in production this 2011.
